Our site at Elgin
When you come to visit our shopping village in Elgin, you can also take a free mill tour and relax in one of our two cafes.
The Mill in Elgin is the only mill in Scotland to transform raw cashmere from fibre to finished article. At our mill you can take a free guided mill tour of the manufacture process and explore our 215 year history in our visitor centre in the beautiful Courtyard setting, adjacent to the Mill Shop. Each season our design team create exciting collections of fabrics, knitwear and accessories for ladies and men as well as for the home. You can find a fantastic range of Johnstons cashmere, lambswool and tweed direct from our flagship mill. In May 2011 we opened a Home Interiors Room offering our latest home interiors fabric collection along with a wide selection of tweed fabrics; all supported with a dedicated interior design advisory service.
