We recommended that you order a fabric sample before buying to check colour, scale and suitablility. We are happy to supply up to six fabric samples (one per design) free of charge.

Width: All fabrics are approx 140cm wide.

Cleaning Instructions

All fabrics are suitable for curtains, cushions and general domestic upholstery (except Portsoy and Cullen Designs). Tain Design fabric is suitable for Severe Contract (if treated with a BS5852 Part 2 ignition source 5 finish). Portsoy Design fabrics are not recommended for upholstery. Cullen is recommended for occasional domestic use only. Scotch Guarding can be arranged on all fabric if required

Colour Matching - We cannot guarantee precise colour matching against samples or between different batches. Where colour matching is important, we recommend that a stock cutting is requested

Fabric & Furniture Delivery

We aim to deliver to your home within 6-8 weeks from date of order. In order to assist with the smooth running of this service, we would require full payment for furniture at time of placing your order and 50% deposit for all soft furnishing orders and balance at time of delivery

Where deliveries are made to third parties (curtain makers, upholsterers etc) on the instruction of the customer it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the correct fabric/furniture is received. We cannot accept claims after the fabric has been cut. Also, no claims will be accepted in respect of any costs of making up

Deliveries for fabrics and furniture will be individually quoted at time of ordering by our Interior Design Assistant.

Fabric & Furniture - Returns and Exchanges

Damaged or faulty goods to be reported within 48 hours of receipt to Interior Design Department at tweedroom@johnstonscashmere.com or tel: +44 (0) 1343 554 056 and returned within 28 days of receipt in original condition only.

We recommend that returns are sent with proof of postage. Please note that postage and packaging costs are non-refundable unless the product has a fault.
