STOCKROOM SUPERVISOR, ELGIN

The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective storage of all stocks held, allowing for easy retrieval, the maintenance and accuracy of stock records (Jomar) and the supervision of the stock room team.

Ensuring the smooth running of the department will include:

Planning and organising staff workload
Ensuring staff training is completed and that quality standards are maintained.
Providing direction to staff
Investigate any considerable stock adjustments
Liaise with other teams such as Customer Services and supervisors within the Warehouse
Following and managing internal procedures
Responsible for cloth stock management
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle count stock take procedures
Communication being one of the most important aspects of the job, whether by e-mail, phone call or in person

Applicants should be well organised, detail conscious and confident in working with computerised systems. The successful candidate will have supervisory skills as well as being able to work effectively within a team environment. A forklift licence would be an advantage.
